Agnes M. Krahn, age 82, of Seymour, passed away Thursday evening, December 13, 2007 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1925, daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Duffey) Hornick. On September 1, 1945 she was united in marriage to Harold Krahn. He preceded her in death February 9, 1986. She and her husband operated Seymour Lumber Company until her retirement.
Agnes was involved in the Seymour Kiwanias Club, Seymour Chamber of Commerce, served on several boards with the Good Shepherd Nursing Home and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
Survivors include: her sister, Beatrice Treml, Seymour; sister-in-law, Marjorie (Hornick) Much, Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.
Agnes was preceded in death by: a brother, Lawrence; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Elnora Seefeldt, Eldora (Ferdinand) Seefeldt, Herb (Alice) Krahn, Alfred (Bernice) Krahn, Carlton (Viola) Krahn, Kathleen Kroner, Elmer Krahn and Paulina Krahn and Frank Treml.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Monday, December 17, 2007 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Funeral services will be at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.
