Alfreda Franco

Alfreda M. Franco, age 84, of Oneida, formally of Chicago, passed away Friday morning, August 15, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. She was born May 22, 1930 daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Skenandore) Danforth.
On February 8, 1947, she was united in marriage to Jose Franco in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1998. Alfreda worked for the Marriott and at a Catholic hospital as a housekeeper and she took the labor test for the Federal Government and worked at the Conservatory. She later moved to Oneida to take care of her mother, Irene Danforth.
Survivors include her children: John Franco, Chicago; Jesse (Maury) Franco, Oneida; Eugene (fiancAC.e Andrea) Franco, Oneida; Helen (John) Arce, Oneida, William (Star) Acevedo, Chicago; Wilma (Chris) Chavez, Chicago; Yvonne (Davy) Vasquez, Chicago; Doug Gross; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; special friend, Barbara Justice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose; sons, Little Jose and Kenneth.
Friends may call at the Oneida Assembly of God Church, Oneida from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 with Pastor Lonnie Johnson officiating and the Oneida Singers at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
