Alice A. Brick, age 98 of Seymour, WI went to her eternal home on Sunday, May 5, 2024. The former Alice Klapper was born on September 18, 1925 to the late Leonard and Hattie (Schuettpelz) Klapper.
She graduated from Bonduel High School and attended NWTC. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Stuebe Binding and Printing Co., and Van Drisse Motors in Green Bay.
She married Earl W. Brick on June 30, 1951 at Emmanuel Lutheran church in Seymour. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1996. Alice and Earl Brick owned and operated the Brick Implement Co. in Seymour until their retirement in May 1971.
She was a former President of the Wednesday Night Ladies Bowling League and also President and Treasurer for the Crystal Springs Tuesday Ladies Golf League. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #106 and the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed spending her winters at their home in Largo, Florida. Alice loved her flowers, gardening, doing crafts and needlework. She crocheted many afghans and sewed hundreds of golf and sun hats, being known to many as the "Hat" lady. She loved to golf and also scored four holes in one. She was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Her survivors are a sister: Marcella Prahl of Seymour; many special nieces and nephews and a host of good friends who will lovingly remember her laughter, kind heart and how she seemed forever young.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Brick; in-laws: Fred and Sarah Brick; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Allen and Louise Klapper, Lawrence and Jean Klapper, Elmer and Valita Brick, Gordon and Florence Thomas, Helmuth and Mildred Springstroh, Gordon Timmers, Leonard Prahl.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton in the Star of Hope Mausoleum.
