Alice Colling
April 21, 1940 — December 16, 2011
Alice M. Colling, age 71, of Seymour, passed away on December 16, 2011 to spend her first Christmas in Heaven with her husband Leonard. She was born April 21, 1940 to the late Pete and Dorothy (Botzet) Socha.
Alice graduated from Pulaski High School. In 1960 she married Leonard Colling at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1996.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
Alice and Leonard farmed together in the town of Seymour for many years before their retirement.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.
Alice is survived by five children: Linda (Terry) Hilbert, Darboy; Frederick (Jeri) Colling, Omro; Richard (Ruth) Colling, Seymour; Nancy Colling, Seymour; Susan (Tony) Page, New Richmond, WI; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: JoAnn Behling, Alvin (Marilyn) Socha, Peter Socha Jr., Dennis (Ginger) Socha, David Socha, Rosemary Kempen, Debra (David) Tennie; sister-in-law Barbara Socha. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Edward (Shirley) Socha and Joseph Socha; brother-in-law Cyril Behling.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
