Alice Heling

HELING, ALICE L.

Alice L. Heling, Seymour, age 87, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born August 21, 1920 in the Town of Center to the late Otto and Emma (Luebke) Daelke. She was the youngest of 16 children. Her family moved to Appleton where she worked alongside her brothers and sisters at the Skelly Service Station and Blue Rock Bottling Company. Alice was proud of graduating from Appleton High School in May of 1938. Alice was united in marriage to Maynard Heling on May 3, 1939 and farmed with him in the Town of Lessor. Upon retirement they moved to Seymour where Alice volunteered packing noon meals for the home bound, became a member of Seymour Woman's Club, served as President of the Senior Citizens, and played lots of sheephead.

She is survived by: her four children, William (Beverly) Heling, Landstad; Mary Ann Ciesielczyk, Suring; Carl Heling, Briarton and Nancy (Steven) Anderson, Green Bay, her 8 grandchildren: Michal (Sharon) Heling, Bonduel; Michele (Dale) Carlson, Sturgeon Bay; Mark (Pam) Heling, Appleton; Vicki (Greg) Gartzke, Freedom; Jody Ciesielczyk, Mt. Shasta, CA; Kelly Ciesielczyk, Menasha; Scott Anderson, Washington D.C. and Todd (Fionnuala) Anderson, Winchester, England. Alice is further survived by 14 great-grandchildren: Nicole, Terilyn, Aaron, Cory, Kyle, Eric, Rudie, Travis, Jenna, Jared, Jolie, James, Benjamin and Matthew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in the Appleton area.

She was preceded in death by; her husband, Maynard; son-in-law, Joseph "Red" Ciesielczyk

Friends may call at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 1 PM until the time of services at 4 PM with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.muehlboettcher.com .

A memorial fund has been established.
