Alice M. (Kofler) Lorenz, 69, Black Creek, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 28, 2013. Alice was born March 16, 1944, daughter of the late Greg and Mary (Long) Kofler, of Neenah. On Feb. 19, 1966, she married Kenneth J. Lorenz of Black Creek. The couple farmed in Black Creek and raised a family of 9 children. Her children and grandchildren were a source of great pride to her and she especially loved spending time with them. She also loved attending her grandchildren's dance recitals, sporting events, piano recitals, and school concerts.
Alice is survived by her husband, Kenneth and their children, Keven (Annette) Lorenz, of Kimberly; Lisa (Greg) Lorenz, of Black Creek; Mary (Bill) Fischer, of Suamico; Keith (Amy) Lorenz, and Julie (Eric) Young, both of Seymour; a step-son George (Liane) Lorenz, of Black Creek and two step-daughters Debbie (Bill) Krause, of Black Creek; Cindy (Dennis) Verstegen, of Appleton; 18 grandchildren: Danny (Marcy) Lorenz, Terry Lorenz, Amanda and Laci Krause, Tanner and Spencer Verstegen, Maria Lorenz, Tyler and Josh Lorenz, Allison, Kaitlyn, and Derek Fischer, Brett, Riley, and Lucas Lorenz, Gavin, Garret, and Grayson Young; one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Lorenz. She is further survived by a sister and a brother, Jean (Norbert) Braun of Menasha; John (Pat) Kofler of Neenah; two sister-in-laws, Millie Lorenz, of Kaukauna; Gerrie Werner of Black Creek; two godchildren Cathy (Braun) Jess and Paul Kofler; many nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Greg and Mary Kofler; a daughter, Laurie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Elna Lorenz; a sister-in-law and three brother-in-laws: Julius and Virgilla Robaidek, Eugene Lorenz, and Kenneth Werner, Sr.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Alice touched are invited to the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour, for a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013, and 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013, at the Green Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1414 Shawano Avenue, with a service at 10:30, with Pastor Bill Ochs. Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Seymour.
