Allen Robert Holewinski, 79, of Black Creek passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 4, 1941 in Waukesha to the late Frank and Ann (Sawicki) Holewinski.
On May 17, 1969 he was united in marriage to Jayne Mueller in Navarino. He was a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Allen worked at Beatrice Cheese in Seymour for 22 years and Dunham Express for 10 years until his retirement.
Allen loved the outdoors, including fishing and hunting. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed trap shooting.
He enjoyed the many visits with his four grandchildren: Paige, Kyle, Nathan, and
Abby.
Allen is surivived by his wife of 52 years, Jayne; three children: Jay (Jen) Holewinski, Jill (Jay) VandenHeuvel, and Jared (Preston Blarek) Holewinski; four grandchildren: Kyle and Abby Holewinski, Paige and Nathan VandenHeuvel; mother-in-law, Dorothy Mueller; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Mark Bredehoft; niece and nephew: Michael Watson and family, and Kristina Watson-Towler and family.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Walter Mueller.
Visitation for Allen will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4:30 pm until the funeral service at 7:30 pm with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
