Alma B. Marien, 90, of Menasha, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at her home. She was born November 12, 1924, daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Schmitt) Riehl.
On November 7, 1941 she was united in marriage to Nolan Marien, in the Township of Ellington. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2006.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour and a former altar society member.
She is survived by her children: Ronald (Vicki) Marien, Lodi, California; Kenneth (Faye) Marien, Seymour; Donna (Norb) Molenda, Dale; Joan Griesbach (special friend Randy Stueck), Clintonville; Charles Marien, Seymour; Gary (Kathy) Marien, Neenah; Krista (Jim) Newhouse, Freedom; Linda (Bill) Wernicke, Middleton, Idaho; Joyce (John) Drath, Menasha; Cheryl (Dave) Bartz, Menasha; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lila Katddatz, Appleton.
Preceded in death by two great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Jack and Milton; three brothers: Marvin, Nolan and Victor; one sister, Verona.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2 p.m. until services at 4 p.m. with Pastor Natalic Kramer-McComb officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Online condolences may be expressed at
