****Angie's service has been postponed to Monday, April 8th, 2024 due to the power outage.
Angie (Tollefson) Wagner, age 55 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Good Shepherd Nursing home. She was born March 1, 1969, in Madison, WI and she lived in Black Earth, WI until 1983 when her family moved to Howard, WI. Then in 1985 her family settled in Black Creek, WI.
Angie graduated in 1987 from Seymour High School. She enjoyed sharing her cooking with everyone and anyone. She was a great cook. Her strength and independence came through with her larger-than-life personality. Angie was a caretaker by nature and her strong love of babies and children led her to being a childcare provider for many in the area. Angie would tell you that becoming a mother herself, was her proudest moment.
At the age of 29 Angie suffered a major stroke and lost some of her mobility and the ability to properly speak. Always strong-willed and stubborn, she still managed to get her point across. Her vocabulary was limited but she did retain some "colorful" language. Angie didn't let her obstacles keep her down; she was always a firecracker and still enjoyed spending time with family and friends, constantly smiling and having fun.
Angie is survived by her son Wyatt (Sydney) Wagner and grandson Weston; mother, Dianne Steinwehr; sisters: Sara (Nate) Schmit, Amy Tollefson, Ashley Crist; brother, Matt Tollefson; uncles and aunts: Jack Wallace, Dale Tollefson, Sybyl Wood, Marlene Koch, with close connections to Richard Wood and Donna (John) Tollefson. She is also survived by several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Tollefson; stepfather, Gary Steinwehr; maternal grandparents, Frank and Mae Wallace; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Bernice Tollefson; aunts, Carrie Wallace and Karen Tollefson; uncles, Richard Wallace and Bernie Koch; cousin, Krystal Tollefson.
Visitation for Angie will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 5:15 pm with pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating.
