Our dear mother, Angeline Ullmer, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on May 13, 1923 to the late Michael and Anna Preslaski and married her loving husband Harvey Wm. Ullmer on February 14, 1942 at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church in Pulaski. From day one, she enjoyed working alongside her husband in the cheesemaking business as well as her role as mother and homemaker.
We will always remember her for her molasses cookies, Christmas bread, and open jar pickles. In addition to making her favorite treats, she made countless rosaries as a member of her Rosary Club and gifted aprons to anyone who would enjoy wearing one. She always looked so classy too in her hats of many colors.
She is survived by her sons: Dean (Pat), Fran (Kris), Lee (Karen), Gary (Mary Claire), and Father James (Bruce) O.S.B.; and daughter, Ann Marie (Gene) Killoren. She is the much-loved “Busha” to 51 grandchildren, 193 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. When asked about the large number, she always said, “There are many but not too many.” She is also survived by her sister Ellie Kelly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her son Greg Ullmer, her grandchildren Katie Ullmer and Emmett Killoren, six great-grandchildren, and her siblings.
Mom always enjoyed and appreciated the weekly visits of Yvonne Ullmer and their recitation of the rosary together. Mom’s friendship with Shirley, Helen, and Katherine was also an important part of her happy time at Forest Glen.
Visitation will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will again be held at St. Sebastian Church in Isaar on Saturday, November 10, 2018, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Mass will be offered by Father James at 10:00 a.m. with burial immediately following.

In lieu of flowers or a memorial fund, we ask that you keep Mom in your prayers.
The Ullmer family would like to thank Forest Glen, Good Shepherd Nursing Home, and Unity Hospice for their very kind care.
