Ardell Vercauteren

Ardell Zarnoth Vercauteren, age 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

She was born on March 6, 1926 to the late Wesley and Elizabeth (Balthazor) Hartlaben.

Ardell was united in marriage to Floyd Zarnoth on October 14, 1944. Floyd preceded her in death on July 3, 1994.

She is survived by her children: David (Kay) Zarnoth, Jean Eick, Diane (Lee) Genske, Tina Palubicki, Deb (Jeff) Stray, and Linda Vande Voort; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Luanne Zarnoth; and brother, Jerry Hartlaben

In addition to her parents and husband, Floyd Zarnoth, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Zarnoth; sons-in-law: Nick Vande Voort and Tom Eick; brothers: LeRoy (Lois) Hartlaben and Donald (Mickey) Hartlaben; and sister-in-law, Naomi Hartlaben.

Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Navarino.
