Ardys L. Irish, 88, of Seymour, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, February 14, 2017 at Sun Valley II the Pines in Pulaski. She was born October 21, 1928, daughter of the late Christ and Wilhemina (Brinkman) Karrow. She was united in marriage to Victor Irish. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1976.
Ardys was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour and member of Concordia. She enjoyed teaching over 25 years in the Pulaski school district. Her family was most important to her.
She is survived by her children: Brent (Virginia) Irish, Vicki Jarvey (special friend Bob), Kelly (Laurie) Irish and Loraine (Craig) Klopotic; grandchildren: Lisa (Derek) Gilsoul, David (Theresa) Jarvey, Lindsay Klopotic Eaton and Christine (Nick) Wilz; two great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Declan.
Preceded in death by her sisters: Audrey (Ken) Weishoff, Lillian Karrow, Ruth (Arlie) Utech and Verona (Joe) Helmke.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from noon until services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
