Arlene F. Baxter, 81, of Black Creek passed away on August 3, 2021 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born on July 20, 1940 a daughter of the late Leland and Jessie (Baxter) Brandt.
On September 18, 1959 she was united in marriage to James Baxter.
Arlene was a faithful and active member of Seymour Assembly of God Church.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, traveling, family reunions, and taking care of her family.
Arlene is survived by her husband, James; children: Cindy (Bruce) Wellhoefer, Mark (Lauren) Baxter, Steve (Tina) Baxter, Rob (Katie) Baxter, Perry (Betsy) Baxter, and Danny (Crystal) Baxter; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three sisters: Sharon Herceg, Vickie Brandt, and Carol Brandt; and Jim's family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Arlene will take place at Seymour Assembly of God Church, Seymour, on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Phil Engle officiating.
