Arlene Jeske

Arlene R. Jeske, age 88, of Seymour passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born on August 21, 1925 to the late Emil and Mabel (Knutson) Schlack.

She married Robert Jeske on August 24, 1949 in Appleton and the couple enjoyed 64 years of marriage. Robert preceded her in death on September 12, 2013.

Arlene and Robert remained on the family dairy farm until retiring and moving into Seymour. She cared for the calves and worked alongside Robert throughout all of their years of farming.

Arlene and Robert enjoyed going on anniversary trips. They visited every state except for Hawaii.

She is survived by three children: Norbert (Mary Stevens) Jeske, Berkeley, CA; Karen Jeske, Green Bay; Kelly (Rachel) Jeske; Lebanon, WI; four grandchildren: Crystal (Nathan), Christine (Joseph), Christie, and Christa (Terry); four great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Nicholas. Further survived by her sisters-in-law: Ella Kaatz, Arizona; and Dorothy Jeske, Darboy; and several nieces and nephews; and friends.

Arlene was preceded in death by husband, Robert; a grandson, Christopher; and step-sister Nilah (Haut) Eldridge.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 4 pm until funeral services at 7 pm with Robert Eberhardt and Travis Wagner officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
