Arlene Laumer

Arlene A. Laumer, 92, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was born August 23, 1925, daughter of the late Oscar and Catherine (Schroeder) Helmers. On April 8, 1950, she was united in marriage to George Laumer in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death February 6, 2005.
Arlene was a member Cicero United Methodist Church. She truly enjoyed her friendship with all fellow residents at Good Shepherd and Shepherds Inn.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Gary) Thiel, Black Creek; grandchildren: Mya (Matt) Brugger, Sam (Chelsey) Thiel, and Arthur Thiel; great-grandchildren: Harrison and Mara; one sister, Mildred Kelly, Germantown; nieces and nephews.
Arlene is preceded in death by her sisters: Adelia Trampel, Lauren Helmers and Elaine Helmers; brothers: Harold Helmers and Marvin Helmers.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from noon until services at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Klaisner officiating. Burial will take place in Cicero United Methodist Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at muehlboettcher.com
