Arlie Doxtator

July 24, 1935 — February 13, 2025

Arlie Doxtator Sr. 89 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 13, 2025. Arlie was born July 24, 1935, to Callaway and Elizabeth (Webster) Doxtator. Arlie grew up in Bowler, WI. He enlisted into the Navy in 1954 where he served in the Korean War.

Arlie was united in marriage to Erma (Parr) on June 06, 1964. Together they spent 45 wonderful years of marriage before Erma passed away in 2009. Arlie worked at Combined Locks Papermill for 39 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Brewers and Packers. He was so happy catching small mouth bass last summer with his daughter Barb and Paul in St. Germain. He spent time on the ONCOA board and enjoyed attending GLNAEA conferences with his sisters. He was member of the Oneida Assembly of God church and an Oneida Hymn Singer for several years. By far, his favorite thing to do was watch his grandkids and great grandkids grow. He loved attending all their sporting events and cheering them on. You could hear him yelling "Throw Strikes Naleyah!" at the ball diamonds. Arlie was so proud that his great-grand twins were born on his 89th birthday and it was the best birthday present ever. The newest great-grandbaby Arlo is named after him.

Arlie is survived by his children Sue (Kendall) Doxtator, Arlie (Susan) Doxtator Jr. and Barb (Paul) Truttmann. He is further survived by his grandchildren Cindy (Fran) John, Amanda (Erik) Cornelius, Danielle (Lavell) Doxtator, Vincent (Cortni) Truttmann, Peter Ellis, Brent (Elise) Truttmann, Aliskwet (Nickolas) Ellis and Joseff Cornelius. Great-grandchildren Naleyah, Sarriah, Jaydah, Cameron, Mylah, Hannah, Zander, Malanah, Ezra, Avianah, Lorlelei, Ruby, Esme, Ialla, Nova and Grace, and Arlo. Further survived by sisters Linda Doxtator, Lorna (Ida) Christjohn, and Marlene Summers and many nieces and nephews.

Arlie is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Erma, siblings Carol, Betty, Bill, Clevie and Frankie, and in-laws Delores and Ervin Parr and Shirli Hottenstine.

The family of Arlie would like to thank Davita Dialysis, St. Vincent 7th floor staff, Oneida Health Center, Anna John Nursing Home staff and his daughter Sue for being his primary caregiver the past several years.

The family is also so grateful for family and friends who brought him food, laughter, stories and love in his final days.

Visitation will take place on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the funeral at 11:00 AM at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home with Deacon Bobby Doxtater and Pastor Joel Cornelius officiating.
