Arnold "Arnie" E. Lardinois, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 2, 2009 in Green Bay. He was born November 10, 1934 in Green Bay to the late Edward and Lula (Heimke) Lardinois. On November 5, 1955 he was united in marriage to Shirley Pedersen.

Arnie lived in the Nichols/Navarino area until recently moving to the Shawano area. He retired from James River Paper Mill after 39 years of service while only missing three day due to illness. He also worked part-time for many years at Green Bay Nursery and Landscaping. Arnie enjoyed the many family gatherings, holidays and vacations. He looked forward to his annual "casino runs", deer camp with the "guys" and just being around to help his family with any project they had to do. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, dropping in on his kids and watching his grandchildren grow over the years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley and their children: Terry (Patti) Lardinois, Seymour; Susan (Dan) Smith, Green Bay; Cindy Huth (special friend Dave), Little Suamico; Jim Lardinois, Freedom; Laurie Ward, Freedom; Danny Lardinois, Shawano; Arnie had eleven loving grandchildren, Pam, Scott, Mike, Jeremy, Beth. David, Robin, Heather, Nickolas, Amanda and Ashley. He also had three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Carter and Lexi. He is further survived by a sister Mabel (Roger) Winter, Marinette; a brother Richard Lardinois, Green Bay and he will also be sadly missed by his dog "Joy".

He was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Lawrence and two sisters Shirley and Nadine.

Friends may call at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 10 AM until funeral services at Noon with Pastor Bill Schroeder officiating.
