Arthur H. Mueller, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon, July 20, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1922 on the home farm in the Township of Cicero, son of the late Robert and Minnie (Gother) Mueller. On August 23, 1947 he was united in marriage to Norma Tietz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Township of Cicero. Art was a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero, where he had served on the church council and was involved in the building of the new church. He also served his community by being on the Cicero Rural Fire Department for 30 years and on the town board for 22 years. Art enjoyed farming for all his life. He loved his family dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Norma; one son, Dennis (Peggy) Mueller, Green Bay; four daughters: Rosie (Eugene) Wilkinson, Black Creek; Cheryl (Mitchell) Hovell, Seymour; Fay Mueller, Nichols; Kathie Christianson, Dale; twelve grandchildren, Bradley, Ryan and Craig Wilkinson; Clint (Abby), Casey and Cole Mueller; Nathan, Joel and Megan Hovell; Angela, Bryan and Heather Christianson; two great-grandchildren, CJ and Rayleigh; two step-grandchildren, Matthew and Stacy; one sister, Beatrice Barclay, Seymour; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Mueller, Seymour and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by, an infant son, Leonard; three brothers: Harold, Walter and Robert (Dorothy) Mueller; two sisters: Ella (Roy) Thomas and Alma (Frank) Stewart.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4 PM until 8 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Visitation will continue on Thursday July 24, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero from 9 AM until the services at 11 AM with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
