Arvin Peters
April 16, 1919 — September 12, 2008
Arvin R. Peters, age 89, of Seymour passed away Friday, September 12, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born April 16, 1919 to the late Henry and Edith (Weisnicht) Peters.
He married Lucille Noack on June 16, 1945 in the Town of Cicero and they enjoyed 63 years together.
He was a dairy farmer on the family homestead in the Town of Lessor until his retirement in 1990. Before moving into Seymour in 2007 he continued to enjoy being on the farm. Arvin enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Shawano Lake.
Arvin was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
Survivors include his wife Lucille; 2 daughters: JoAnn (Bruce) Radeske, Shawano, and Karen (Dan) Bergsbaken, Verona; 3 grandchildren: Robyn (John) Hoewisch, Weyauwega, Rochelle (Neal) Westemeier, Marion, and Nick Bergsbaken, Merrill; 1 great grandchild Olivia Westemeier; 3 sisters-in-law: Sandra Scheller, Nichols, Leola Kohn, Gillett, and Dorothy Mueller, Seymour. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Donna; 2 brothers: Alvin and Norman; a sister Sylvia; 2 brothers-in-law: Walter Mueller and Emil Kohn.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 9:30 AM until funeral services at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
