Barbara Krause

Barbara J. Krause, 59, of Beaver, Wis. passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, December 13, 2012, at 12:53 p.m., at Bay Area Medical Center.
Barb was born December 13, 1953 in Green Bay to Rose (Mauritz) and Norman Krause.
She attended Seymour grade schools and graduated from Seymour High in 1972.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Norman E. Krause on January 2, 1977 and her brother Norman Michael Krause on June 8, 1978. Also preceded in death by her grandparents and all her aunts and uncles, some cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Barb J. Krause is survived by her mother Rose M. Krause, Green Bay; her daughter Sherry Lee (Schuh) Stewart, Denver, CO; son James L. Schuh, Dunbar WI; son-in-law Chris Stuart, Denver, CO; her sister Beverly Vogelin, Milwaukee, WI. Barb is also survived by her best friend, helper and room-mate of many years Keith Szela, Beaver, WI; long lost friend (recently reunited since age 12/13) Gloria Te Lindert, Oostburg, WI; her yellow lab dog, Ruger.
Barb cleaned businesses in Green Bay and up-north area businesses. Also she cooked and waitressed in the past at local restaurants and supper clubs. For 3 seasons she worked for Mr. Ed's Magical Midways doing various jobs and helping train Russian students.
In 2008 Barb started college at NWTC in the Adult Degree Program she received her Associates Degree in Applied Science and Casino Management in May 2011.
Barb also received other certificates while attending NWTC. In April 2009 Barb received her Supervision Certificate; in January 2010 Barb received her Casino Management Foundations of Gaming Leadership Certificate; May 2010 Barb received her Casino Management Regulation and Operations Certificate; December 2010 Barb received her Casino Management and Casino Regulation Certificate; May 2011 Barb received her Organization Leadership Certificate; May 2011 Barb received her Health Care Leadership Certificate.
Barb was inducted into Phi-Theta Kappa International Honor Society on September 26, 2008 with a grade point average of 3.75-3.99.
Barb stared her second semester towards her Bachelor's degree of science at UWGB on August 2012.
Barb doctored with her stage 4 cancer since Feb. 2011. Her doctor believed she wouldn't live past December of 2012.
Barb was interested in collecting cactus items and enjoyed time spent with family, friends and her dog, Rugar.
