Barbara Schwiner

March 4, 1951 — June 20, 2012

Barbara A. Schwiner, 61, of Freedom passed away Wednesday evening, June 20, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was born March 4, 1951 daughter of Regina (Kaczmarowski) Wasielewski and the late Joseph Wasielewski. On May 4, 1974 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Schwiner at the Assumption BVM Church, Pulaski. He preceded her in death January 8, 2004.

Barb was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She worked at Franciscan Care for 16 years, then, spent the rest of her years enjoying dancing, vacations, making trips to the casino with her sisters and friends and watching her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons: Joe, Freedom; Mike (Heidi), Oneida; Jim, Freedom; daughter Mary (fiance Greg), Menasha; grandchildren: Brianna, Kylie, Emily and Ryan all of Oneida; mother Regina Wasielewski, Pulaski; brothers: Walter (Donna) Wasielewski; Philip (Diana) Wasielewski; sisters: Genny (Richard) Hodkiewicz; Joyce Diedrich; brother-in-law Bernard Schwiner; many nieces, nephews and friends

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday June 24, 2012 from 4-8 PM and on Monday, June 25, 2012 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon with Fr. Anyone that knew Barb would know she was a wonderful person. She always had a smile on her face and really enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She was a loving, caring, beautiful woman and really had a heart of gold. She was a great mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend to all of those who loved her. We are all going to miss her silly jokes, that contagious laugh and bubbly personality.
