Beatrice Barclay

June 30, 1926 — April 26, 2012

Beatrice (Mueller) Barclay, age 85, left this world to go to heaven on Thursday morning, April 26, 2012 at Shepherds Inn, Seymour. She was born June 30, 1926 daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (Gother) Mueller in the Town of Cicero. She married Lawrence Barclay on Dec. 7, 1946. The couple farmed in the Town of Osborn. He preceded her in death May 14, 1969.

Beatrice was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was active in Concordia and the Women of the Church. She sewed many quilt tops and kitty kit bags for missions. She also enjoyed the ladies at the Reading Club.

Survivors include her children: Mary (Darryll) Olson, Navarino: Carol (Wayne) Reese, Leeman; Janet (Tom) Daniels, Nichols; Warren (Sally) Barclay, Seymour; grandkids: Michelle (Shawn) O'Harrow, Krakow; Matthew (Rachel) Olson, Stephanie Olson and Lori Olson all of Navarino; Kevin (Jennifer) Reese, Seymour; Scott (Sharon) Reese, Darlington; Bruce Reese, Leeman; Jennifer Daniels; Suzy (Paul) Rice, all of Nichols; Larry Barclay, Seymour and Aaron Barclay, Nichols; great grandkids: Kerry and Lance O'Harrow; Joshua Zak; Melany, Charlie and Elise Reese and Raelynn and Evan Rice; 2 sisters-in-law: Norma and Dorothy Mueller

She will be joining her family in heaven including her husband, parents, and infant son; 4 brothers: Harold, Walter, Robert (Dorothy), Arthur Mueller; 2 sisters Alma (Frank) Stewart and Ella (Roy) Thomas; In-laws: Vernon Barclay and Maurice (Margaret) Barclay; Ruth (Ray) Klein; Doris (Bill) Osterheld

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 2-6 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2012 and Monday, April 30, 2012 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.
