KITTELSON, BERNICE V.
Bernice V. Kittelson, age 89, of Nichols, passed away January 14, 2010. She and her twin sister Beatrice were born on February 4, 1920 in Clintonville, to Paul and Althea (Vaughn) Wolff. In 1942 she married Arthur Olson and proudly raised eight children. In 1969 she married Charles Kittelson. During her lifetime, she worked diligently to provide and care for a very important part of her being, her children. Bernice enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and vacations with her husband, sister and children. Creative, she found happiness in sewing, knitting, crafting, teaching ceramics and making beautiful quilts.
Bernice is survived by her children: Betty Larkee, Appleton; Norman (Janis) Olson, Stoutsville, Missouri; Judy (Roger) Lemberg, Cecil; Linda (Robert) Hoes, Nichols; Paula (Glen) Kocken, De Pere; Martin Olson, Menasha; Andy (Mary Lou) Olson, Shiocton; Ruth Olson, Nichols; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; her brothers Wallace Wolff, Kaukauna; Delbert Wolff, Hilbert; in-laws, Edna Grandy, Black Creek; and Dorothy and Sam Drescher, Howards Grove; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Peter, and sisters: Mildred Kohls and Beatrice Laehn.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church, Oneida from 10 AM until funeral services at 11AM with Reverend Vernon Heim officiating.
