Betty Louise Barth, 86, of Black Creek, passed away Thursday morning, December 1, 2016 at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton. She was born June 17, 1930, daughter of the late Elmer and Irene (Nichols) Schmidt.
On June 10, 1950 she was united in marriage to Eugene Barth. The couple enjoyed camping at Pine Aire in Eagle River and later Cecil and traveling with their camping friends. She enjoyed time spent with her family most of all. Betty enjoyed gardening, her cats and polka dancing with her grandsons.
Betty was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; children: Nancy (Gary) Pierce, Bonnie (Rick) Stoeger, David (Lisa) Barth, Dennis (Joan) Barth, Dean (special friend, Joyce) Barth, Jodie (Tim) Murphy, Dale (Dawn) Barth; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; in-laws: Marion (Robert) Rohloff, Shirley (Don) Doersch, Darlene (Rich) Loga and Norm Lemke; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by one brother, Dennis (Marlene) Schmidt and one sister, Velda "Toots" (Wally) Olson.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Brandt and Pastor Steve Schlicht officiating.
