Betty Mae Johnson, 82, of Appleton passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Brewster Village. She was born October 1, 1939 a daughter of the late Art and Ida (Beschta) Drephal.

In April of 1959 she married Roger Johnson. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2001.

Betty worked as a nurse's aid for over 30 years at Appleton Medical Center prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her children: Dean (Bridget) Johnson, Algoma and grandchildren: Brad, Brittany, and Taylor (Kurt) Rosinsky; Penny Johnson, Appleton and grandchildren: Nick and Brandon; sister, Janice Boman, Black Creek; sister-in-law, Violet (Jim) Vissers, Oneida; brother-in-law, Bernard McCall, Green Bay.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death a brother, Don (Loretta) Drephal; by two brothers-in-law, Randell and Ronald (Rosie) Johnson; sister-in-law, Mary Ann McCall; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ivan and Arlene Johnson.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 930 E Florida Ave, Appleton, from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
