Betty Marie Tischer, 74, of Navarino, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Neenah, WI, November 4, 1941, daughter of the late James and Edna (Pues) Dingeldein.
Betty worked at various jobs. She won awards for sales in advertising, worked in Real Estate, and started her own business, The Hearing Center. Her interests were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her animals. People appreciated her wonderful humor, right up to the end. She enjoyed watching the Packers, decorating, designing, building, and remodeling homes, doing carpentry work, playing sheephead, playing softball and fishing with her kids and grandkids. She shared her faith in Jesus with many.
Betty was survived by her children: Debbie (Tim) Kallies, Green Bay; Joni (Gary) Dowling, Navarino; Patti Tischer, Clintonville; Dan (Tina) Tischer, Combined Locks; grandchildren: Heather (Dan) Hassell, Tara Kallies, Brittany (Ryan) Slack, Joshua (Rachael) Dowling, Jessica Dowling, Caleb Dowling, Ashley (Marcus) Lendved, Randee Tischer, Malachi Tischer, Abram Tischer; great-grandchildren: Brycen Hassell, Jotham Dowling, Othniel Dowling, Gideon Dowling, and Ephraim Dowling, Jaeley Tischer, Jordan Paholke and Easton Lendved; brother, John "Jack" (Sharon) Dingeldein, Gillett; sister, Shirley LaRue, Oshkosh; brothers-in-law: Howard "Howie" Van Den Elzen, Cecil and Duane La Rue, Oshkosh; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lori; sister, Barbara Van Den Elzen.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. and visitation will continue at Ascension Lutheran, Navarino on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Marcia Sabin officiating.
