Carl Edmond Marsh born in Town of Lessor, March 10, 1929 passed away July 8, 2018 under the care of the Good Shepard Nursing Home, Seymour WI. Special thanks to Lakewood Assisted Living for caring for Carl this past year.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Nellie Marsh; brothers, Jack and Ivan "Buddy"; sisters: Delia Sperberg, Nettie Reuter and Enid Mattson; brothers-in-law: Wilmer Smith, William Reuter and Vic Sperberg. Survived by sisters, Neva Smith and JoNelle Gregg; sister-in-law, June Marsh; and brothers-in-law: Gerald Mattson, John Gregg; and many nieces and nephews.
Carl enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, visiting with friends /family and traveling out west with Curt, Deb, Ray and Belva. Carl loved his family, was always there to help, and was a wealth of family history knowledge.
Carl took over the family farm at a young age, when his father passed away. He was very close to his mother, who he cared for the rest of her life. From the family farm Carl purchased the Junction Grocery by Chute Pond and then later started the Evergreen Trailer Park, where he built a beautiful log home. He donated the land for the Catholic Church and continued to develop the park until he retired.
A “Celebration of Carl’s Life” will be held at the Water’s Edge (Previously Tip Top, 12058 Hwy 32, Suring) located next to Anderson Lake from 2 pm to 5 pm this Sunday July 15th. Carl requested you wear casual clothes to his party, short pants and colorful shirts. Carl had a wonderful life and thanks you all for being a part of it.
