Carol A. Greuel, 70, of Black Creek, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born on July 15, 1954, to the late Gilbert and Evelyn (Paige) Vincent.
Carol married the love of her life, Ricky Greuel, on May 13, 1977, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oneida. She was a talented seamstress, known for her meticulous work in making beautiful window treatments. Carol had a natural flair for decorating and redecorating, always transforming spaces into warm and inviting homes. Her passion for horses and horseback riding brought her immense joy and peace. Above all, Carol's greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, with whom she shared countless cherished moments and memories.
Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rick; her children: Chad (Melissa) Greuel, Jill (Cory) Spejcher, Julie Greuel, and Ricky (Nadia) Greuel; and her five grandchildren: Layne Greuel, Jackson and Gavin Spejcher, Leena Greuel, and Reagen Spejcher. She is also survived by her siblings: Gary (Noranna) Vincent, Bonnie (Tim) O'Mally, Nancy (Tom) Van De Hei, Anita (Tory) Christensen, Lori Vincent, and Mark (Sheila) Vincent; her brother-in-law, Deny (Mary) Greuel; her sister-in-law, Paula Greuel; her mother-in-law, Carol M. Greuel; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Weise; her stepfather, Arnold VandenEng; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester "Blackie" and Joan Greuel; and her brother-in-law, Gary Greuel.
A memorial service for Carol will be held at the West Side Moravian Church, 1707 S Oneida St, Green Bay, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 12 noon with Pastor Marion Rohloff officiating. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:30 am.
