Carol Steinfort
February 9, 1928 — July 19, 2010
Carol Jean Steinfort, Menasha passed away Monday evening July 19, 2010 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born February 9, 1928 to the late Edward and Eleanor (Lingnofski) Stinski.
She married Thomas Steinfort on May 10, 1947. Carol was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Menasha. She was a member of the Humane Society and had a love for animals. Carol enjoyed watching birds and taking time to enjoy nature. The squirrels and birds never went hungry. Knitting, flower gardening, camping, fishing, boating and time spent with her family, especially the shopping trips, were her favorites.
In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by her 4 daughters: Susan (John) Sokolowski, Menasha, Peggy Langkau, Neenah, Kris (Jeff) Roth, Manawa, and Jan (Mike) Gustman, Seymour; 9 grandchildren: Laurie, Sari, Kami, Jenny, Hallie, Justin, Brad (Samantha) Jeremy (Rachel), and Tyler; 8 great grandchildren: David, Taylor, Jacob, Christian, Teagan, Austin, Ahriana, and Xander; sister Sally (Jim) Gustman, Appleton; brother Gerald (Bonnie) Stinski, Heldsburg, California.
Friends may call at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 226 Washington Street Menasha, on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 9AM until services at NOON with Fr. Ralph Osborne officiating. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established.
