Caroline Lueck

Caroline Alma Lueck, 72, Seymour, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. She was born July 4, 1949, to the late Arthur and LaVerne (Ossmann) Zeamer, and was raised on the family farm in Shirley. On October 22, 1971, Caroline was united in marriage to John Lueck.

Caroline worked for several years at the bakery at Don's Quality Market with some special friends. She loved sewing, crocheting, and quilting. Caroline was proud of her vast supply of yarn and fabric, which will be donated to various local churches to aid in their ministry. She also enjoyed gardening and canning, and was a talented baker. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, John; one son, Jeremy Lueck (fiancee, Melissa LaCombe); one daughter-in-law, Jessica Lueck; two grandchildren: Logan and Mykayla Lueck; two sisters: Angie (Max) Schroeder, and Lorraine (Rick) Cisler; one sister-in-law, Mary (Stanford) Larkin; and one brother-in-law, Dennis Brinkman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Victor and Fay Lueck; one son, Michael Lueck; one sister, Helen Zeamer; one sister-in-law, Nancy Brinkman.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 201 E. Birch Street, Black Creek, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Steve Schlicht officiating.
