Carolyn Mill

Carolyn Jane Mill, formerly of Seymour, Wisconsin passed away on November 5, 2023 in Casa Grande, AZ at the age of 101. She was born December 11, 1921 in Montgomery County Iowa to Willie and Matilda (Baldozier) Fleming.

Carolyn married Virgil Bredberg on March 28, 1942. After World War II they lived in Iowa for two years before they bought a farm near Seymour in 1948. They raised two foster sisters, Kristine (Rosin) and Judith (Kroll). Virgil passed away in August 1969.

Carolyn married Robert Mill on September 11, 1971. She worked about 10 years at Don's Market. Carolyn was a 4-H leader for 25 years for Outagamie 4-H. She was also a resource leader for knitting and crocheting, a county and state fair judge. Carolyn was also a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for many years.

Carolyn and Bob started spending the winter in Arizona in 1983 and became Arizona residents in 1989. She loved traveling, hiking, quilting, volunteering for Hospice Compassus and planting trees with Bob.

She is survived by son-in-law Corey (Pat) Kroll, foster daughter Judy Kroll, grandchildren Curt and Carrie Rosin, Brain Kroll, five great grandchildren, stepdaughters Kristine (Lyle) Schaefer and Cynthia (Bernard Nelson) Mill, granddaughter Kalla Schaefer plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N Main Street, on Thursday November 30th at 10 AM with pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Private interment at Seymour Cemetery.
