Charles Dorn, age 80, passed away on March 12, 2021 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Charlie was born on December 30, 1940 to the late Joseph and Frances (Skaleski) Dorn.
He graduated from Pulaski High School, and then served in the United States Army for two years. Charlie then went on to work as a mechanic at Green Bay Food Company for 44 years.
Charlie was united in marriage to Carol Palubicki on May 8, 1965.
He lived his entire adult life in Seymour. Charlie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cheering on all the Wisconsin teams: the Packers, the Badgers and the Brewers. He loved watching the grandkids play sports, and enjoyed playing baseball with his brothers for the Hofa Park baseball team.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Dorn; children: Lynn (Rick) Huebsch, Tom Dorn, Lisa (Mike) Story, Dale (Sandi Allen) Dorn, and Dean (Tammy) Dorn; grandchildren: Chad Huebsch, Maria Huebsch, Nick Story, Taylor Story, Brock Story, Dawson Dorn, Peyton Dorn, Mason Dorn, and Carson Dorn; siblings: Arlene Gauthier, Deloris Dorn, Joan Johnson, Carol (Jerry) McDermid, Roger (Chris) Dorn, Jerry (Paula) Dorn, and Shirley (Dick) VanDeHei; four sisters-in-law: Theresa Dorn, Cheryl Dorn, Theresa Palubicki, and Arlene Palubicki; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Frances (Skaleski) Dorn; three brothers: Frank Dorn, Delbert Dorn and Richard Dorn; in-laws: Thomas and Erna Palubicki; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Earl Gauthier, Vivian (Eugene) Naparalla, John Palubicki, Mary (Adrian) Majewski; and Duane "Chubby" Palubicki.
Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 10 am until the funeral mass at 12 noon with Fr. Sengole Dass and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
