Charlotte Thies

Charlotte H. Thies, 67, of Oneida, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Meng Residence the Unity Hospice Center in De Pere, surrounded by her family. She was born March 31, 1948, daughter of the late Russell and Viola (Maufort) Thies.
Charlotte was a graduate of Pulaski High School and received her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Mount Senario College, Milwaukee and obtained her Master's Degree at Lawrence University, Appleton.
She was a cardiac registered nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay for 37 years until her retirement.
She enjoyed traveling, nursing was her passion. Charlotte loved animals, especially her dogs and cats and all of the other outdoor birds and animals.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Oneida.
Survivors include her siblings: Charles (Samai) Thies, Oneida; Shirley (Harry) Willette, Hobart; nieces and nephews: Tadd, Poun, Chad, David, Misti and Diana; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and visitation will continue on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, Oneida from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Schumm officiating.
