Clarence G. Gregorius, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1917 to the late Otto and Katherine Gregorius.

On July 31, 1937 he was united in marriage to Elaine Hahn. She preceded him in death on November 10, 1998.

Clarence was a World War II Marine Veteran and a member of the Black Creek American Legion. He ran Gregorius Meat Market for over 39 years and was employed with Murphy Construction for 25 years. Clarence was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Black Creek, a member of the Fox Valley Horsless Carriage Club and served on the Black Creek Fire Department for 47 years where he was captain for many years. He enjoyed playing cards with the New London card group at the Cabin and his antique cars.

Survivors include his sons, Don Gregorius, Cecil; Dan (special friend Virginia) Gregorius, Shawano; two grandchildren, Scott (Cristen) Gregorius, Sara (Jason) Kliethermes; four great-grandchildren: Aidan, Brent, Brice and Callie Ann; one sister, Frieda Brusiwitz, Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 9 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Don Baumann officiating. Military rites to follow service by the Black Creek American Legion. Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family.
