Passed away Saturday evening, June 8, 2013, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour, surrounded by his family. He was born August 6, 1927, son of the late Irgens and Valberg (Gunderson) Hogan. On March 28, 1948, he was united in marriage to Bernice Werbelow. She preceded him in death September 28, 2006. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Clayton farmed in the Town of Seymour until his retirement. He also owned a trucking business for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his motor home, his horses, and trail riding. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero, where he served on various committees.

Survivors include his children: Sally (Ronald) Hackl, Green Bay, Shirley Wunderlich, Appleton, Larry (Leota) Hogan, Seymour, Sue (John) Van Gheem, Seymour; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Gertrude (Neil) Kiedinger, DePere.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Eli (Neil) Hogan; and son-in-law, Mike Wunderlich.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 4-8 PM, and Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero, from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dave Morton officiating. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
