SCHMOLL, CYRIL G.
Wittenberg, formally of Black Creek
Cyril G. Schmoll, age 89, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He was born June 22, 1920 son of the late Gustave and Dorothy (Herbest) Schmoll. On July 14, 1945 he married Marie Vanden Hoogen. Cyril farmed on the family farm in the Township of Maine until 1962 when he became employed with Appleton Machine retiring in 1985. Cyril and his wife were avid bus tourists. He loved his flower gardens and fishing, especially at Geano Beach. He enjoyed family gatherings and time spent with his family and grandchildren. Cyril was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek.
Survivors include his wife Marie, children: Nancy Noack, Black Creek; Dorothy (Steve) Kominowski, Elcho; Bill (Lois) Schmoll, Black Creek; Judy (Scott) Kruger, Appleton; Dick (Debbie) Schmoll, Shiocton; Rae (Tim) Wilkinson, Hatley; Rose (Mark) Johnson, Iola. He is further survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Terry Noack and one brother, Kenney.
Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek from 10 AM until services at 11 AM on Friday, April 30, 2010 with Pastor Steve Schlicht officiating. Entombment at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .
