Dana Werner

d. April 28, 2012

Dana J. Werner, age 37 of Seymour, will be sadly missed by her Devoted Mother, Darlene Kaczrowski Werner, Father, Daniel Werner, Beloved Big Sister, Leslie Fulton, who always looked out for her, "her little buddy" her one and only nephew, Austin Fulton, Uncle George Kaczrowski, who was a father to her, her Loving Aunts and Uncles, Dolores (Ollie) Leisgang, Helen (LaVern) Leisgang, Paul Kaczrowski, Eugene (Joanne) Kaczrowski, Edwin (George) Kaczrowski, Chris (Keith) Mueller. Her many cousins who were like brothers & sisters, her chosen "sista" Darci Gerhard and a long list of friends & acquaintances.

Dana Graduated from Seymour High School in 1995 where she participated in chorus, plays and was a presenter at the Golden Apple Awards. She was a member of St John the Baptist Church where she enjoyed being a lector & bringing a smile to peoples face. Dana was a Friend of the Library & enjoyed being active in all the events especially the Book & Bake Sale, Wine Tasting Event, Burger Fest & Parade and summer children programs as Dana loved babies & kids. She also enjoyed going to Curves.

Dana's greatest joy was singing. She loved Karaoke and rocked Music in the Park with "Hit Me with Your Best Shot." Other favorites included Any Man of Mine, Honey I'm Home, and numerous duets with Mom including "Love Shack" and "He Drinks Tequila". Dana also enjoyed being DJ "SWEETPEA" as she was an internet DJ on Goddess Radio. She liked playing play station, WII and computer games with her "buddy" Austin as they sat next to each other each on their laptops giggling their hearts out for hours on end. She also enjoyed spending time with the elderly & helping in any way she could.

Dana loved everyone and everyone loved her. Dana would light up any room she walked into, she left a lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with. No one was a stranger and if you were having a bad day after you talked to her you had to cheer up. She had a heart of gold and delightful, playful spirit. The smallest things pleased her and everything was an event. With her big smile and her spunky attitude she never left you without a smile, a hug, a pat on the shoulder and a "Luv Ya".

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Paul & Helen Kaczrowski, Uncle Ollie Leisgang, & cousin, Scott Kaczrowski.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 4-8 PM and at Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Fr. "Dana" You have left a big hole in all our hearts & I don't know when we will stop crying. You were a major part of my life & I don't know how I will start a day without hearing "did you sleep good Mom & don't forget to kiss me good-bye" or "end a day without a kiss good nite & "I Love You Mom, sleep tight" You were my little partner and you would say "but you will always have me". How I wish that was true. You went through lots of trials and took everything so in stride with a great attitude & spirit. You were a one of a kind of girl and I was privileged to have you as my daughter. You were a great example of how to live life.

I want to "thank" my wonderful, daughter, Leslie, my other precious daughter, who stands by my side, My Grandson, who is trying to help me even through his deep sadness, my brothers, sisters, family, friends, Fr. Bob, Deacon Matuszak, & Orville DeBruin & staff of Muehl-Boettcher.
