Daniel J. Johnson, age 67, from Seymour, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, June 25, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay. He was born April 24, 1944, son of the late Claude and Angeline (De Both) Johnson. On October 7, 1964 he was united in marriage to Evalyn Rusch.

Dan was a 1962 graduate of Seymour High School. He retired from Farmers Insurance where he was a Senior Field Claims Rep. He presently was employed part-time with Lakeside Foods. Dan served as an Alderman for the City of Seymour.

He enjoyed golfing, racing, traveling, he was a member of Home of the Hamburger and involved with the Starwood Band with Kevan, Sandy, Renae and Mark, who they always called "Uncle Dan".

He is survived by his wife Evalyn; daughters: Tammy (Erik) Burcham, Howard; Tanya (Jay) Penzenstadler, De Pere; sisters: Joan (Kenneth) Melotte, Spartenberg, South Carolina; Claudia (Dan) Zittlow, Appleton; Wendy (Rick) Bloedorn, Seymour; brothers: David Johnson, Oneida; James C. Johnson, Oneida; Steve (Emily) Johnson, Oneida; Sam (Jean) Johnson, Oneida; nieces and nephews; golfing buddy Mike Mullen and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by parents Claude and Angeline Johnson, a niece Lisa Johnson and a nephew Steve "Bull" Johnson Jr.
