Daniel Schmidt

Daniel G. Schmidt, 72, of Seymour, passed away Saturday morning, July 9, 2016. He was born September 8, 1943, son of the late Harold and Minnie (Ready) Schmidt. On August 15, 1987 he was united in marriage to Georgia Guyette.

Daniel was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Seymour. He enjoyed woodworking, hotrods, and most of all the time spent with his family.

Daniel is survived his wife, Georgia; children: Kim (Dan), Dan Jr. (Tina), Fred (Jenny), Laure (Eric), Paul, Brenda (Pat), Scott (Laurie), Jamie (Sheri), and David; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Arlene (special friend Ken McHugh) Neumann, Appleton; Harold Jr., Black Creek; Judy (Glen) Nelson, Shiocton; Thomas (Debbie) Schmidt, Black Creek; John (Chris) Schmidt, Bonduel; Randy (Kathy) Schmidt, Black Creek; Peter (Karen) Schmidt, Nichols; Steve (Lauri) Schmidt, Seymour; Joe Schmidt (special friend, Margo) Center Valley; Patti Schmidt, Menasha; Gerald (Karen) Schmidt, Appleton; best friend, Rick Gipp.

He was preceded in death by his two sons: James and Robert "Bobby"; brother, Richard (Judy) Schmidt.

Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11 am with Father Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
