Daniel Dean Seymour, 73, of Shiocton, passed away Monday morning, October 31, 2016 at Rennes Health and Rehab, with his family by his side. He was born in Iron River, MI on February 21, 1943, son of the late Earl and Doris (Sparks) Seymour and was raised in Florence County, WI.
On September 1, 1962 he was united in marriage to Katherine Schelm at First Presbyterian Church in Winnebago, IL. The couple lived in Illinois for three years before moving to Greenville.
Dan worked at Miller Electric for 35 years until his retirement in 2005.
Dan was passionate about fishing, both in the boat and on the ice. He loved fishing with his children, grandchildren, and friends. Dan also enjoyed sports and was a devoted Packer fan.
Dan would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He was the family repairman, and was truly a jack of all trades.
One of his greatest joys was holding babies, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. More than anything else, Dan was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who worked very hard to take care of his family.
