Daniel Zintman

Daniel M Zintman, aged 91, passed away Feb 23, 2025 at Forest Glen Assisted Living in Seyour, Wi.

Dan was born in Marquette, MI November 25, 1933 to Carl and Grace (Comstock) Zintman. He was united in marriage to Grace Marceau on August 27, 1955. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1995.

He served in the US Army from 1956-1958.

He worked as an insurance adjuster until taking a job as loan officer at First National Bank in Seymour and retired as bank manager in 1996.

He then moved back to Marquette and married Carolyn Holland in 1998. Several years later they moved to Jensen Beach, Florida. They were married 24 years until Carolyn passed on March 30, 2023.

He is survived by his three childen: Kim (Joeseph) Klarner, Daniel (special friend Paula Traywick), and Dale (Michelle); and three step-children: Glen Holland, Laura (Paul) Axeen, and Jennifer (Keith) Sorenson. He also has 10 grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

His hobbies were cooking, hunting and fishing. He also belonged to the Lions Club in Seymour and the Masonic Lodge.

There will be a private service in Marquette, MI.

The family wants to give a special thank you to Forest Glen Assisted Living and Compassus Hospice for their great care that Dan received.
