Deborah “Debbie” M. Briggs, age 55, of Seymour passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 29, 1965 in Port Washington, daughter of Charlie and Paulette (Wilmot) Becker. Debbie grew up in Port Washington, then moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin where she graduated from Preble High School in 1983. 24 years ago, on July 2, she met her husband Scott Hughes. Debbie enjoyed drawing, especially horses; fishing, gardening, anything outdoors. She also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Hughes; her daughter, Andrea (Eric) Militello, Sheboygan; sons: Justin “Jay” Briggs, Bentonville, AR; Aaron Briggs, Appleton; Dale Hughes, Seymour; grandchildren: Isabella and Camilla Militello; her father, Charlie (Suzie) Becker, Sturgeon Bay; sister: Cheryl Kaster, Allouez; brothers: Dave (Sue Ann) Becker, Neilsville; Dan (Jennie) Becker, Green Bay; brother-in-law, Scott LaCrosse; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Paulette (Andy) Surk; and sister, Christine LaCrosse.
In accordance with Debbie’s wishes, a private family memorial gathering will be held. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family.
