Delores "Dorrie" M. Marquette, age 93, of the Town of Cicero passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021. She was born on July 23, 1928 to the late Walter and Verona (Barth) Madison. Dorrie was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cicero.
She was united in marriage to Leo Marquette on June 23, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2001.
After she raised her family, Dorrie cooked at Nichols School where she made many lifelong friends.
Dorrie was a frequent and proud blood donor, having donated over 100 gallons of blood throughout her life.
She enjoyed her Friday morning breakfasts and poker games with her friends. When there was polka music, Dorrie could be found dancing. Penny card games and trips up to the cottage and casino were favorite past-times. She would frequently stop for ice cream and rummage sales.
Delores is survived by her children: Cyndi Marquette-Bebout, Rod (Carol) Marquette, Rick (Vicki) Marquette, Faith (Gary) Warmbier, Tarra (Keith) Seifert, Ross (Patti) Marquette, and Tina (Garry) Madson; grandchildren: Brooke Bebout, Beau (Emily) Bebout, RJ (Jenny) Marquette, Ryan (Staci) Marquette, Rendall Marquette, Richard Marquette, Tom (Heather) Marquette, Ron (Hannah) Marquette, Daniel Warmbier, Tiffany Warmbier, Madalyn (fiance Garrett) Seifert, Emily Seifert, Garrett Madson, and Gabrielle Madson; numerous great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Marilyn Madison; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey (Erwin) Beyer; and brothers: Howard (Dorothy) Madison, and Donald Madison.
Visitation for Delores will take place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4 pm until 7 pm. Visitation will continue on August 18, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Ben Williams officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
