Delores E. Muenster, 93, of Appleton, passed away Sunday morning, February 12, 2017, at Theda Care Medical Center. She was born September 25, 1923, daughter of the late George and Linda (Pingel) Bohl. On July 6, 1946, she was united in marriage to John Muenster, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death July 18, 1992.
Delores was an active member of Freedom Moravian Church since 1947 and sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Aid for 70 years. She loved her family and enjoyed all sports along with flowers, gardening, playing cards, watching Fox News, and helping her husband on the farm.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Susan) Muenster; five grandchildren: Roy (Kathy) and Rob (Jeanne) Sprister, Jason (Leah) Muenster and their children: Zach, Jake, Ellie, Luke and Emmie; Kristin Muenster, and Cody (Marsha) Muenster, and their son Caiden; sisters-in-law, Gloria Weisshahn, Charlotte Bohl, Laverne Muenster; brother-in-law, Victor (Barb) Muenster.
Delores is preceded in death by her daughter, Donna (Ron) Sprister and her brothers, Hilbert, Lloyd, and Jerry Bohl, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bob (Dorothy) Mueller, Art (Helen) Henke, Melvin (Alice) Brueswitz, Emory (Maria) Brockman, George Muenster.
Friends may call at Freedom Moravian Church on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Garritt Fleming officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Online condolences may be expressed at
