Deloris M. Clausen, 92, Seymour, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The daughter of John and Mary (Deneys) Morrow was born September 3, 1930, and was a 1949 graduate of Saint Joseph's Academy. On April 15, 1950, Deloris was united in marriage to Willis Clausen in Green Bay, and the couple raised four children. Willis preceded Deloris in death on June 12, 2004.
Deloris was very social and took part in many organizations. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. She had a passion for helping many families with her involvement in a Mood Disorder Support Group for 15 years. Deloris had a special place in her heart for assisting The Friends of Muehl Public Library; she helped with book sales and met amazing friends through her volunteering efforts. Deloris enjoyed crocheting, shopping with friends, and making food for potlucks at Hillside. She enjoyed time with the Red Hatters, the Woman's Club, Prayer Shawl meetups, the American Legion, Bible study and Prayer Chain. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, for whom she always had dollars and candy bars, which was reciprocated with a smile and a hug.
Survivors include her children: Donamae Kutska, Seymour; Allan (Carol) Clausen, Green Bay; Catherine (Mark) Morey, Washburn; and Lori (Glen) Linsmeyer, Semour; her grandchildren: Kurt (Liz) Kutska, Keriann (special friend Casey) Kutska, Nicholas Kutska, Samantha Jo Gerrits, Craig Clausen, Connie Clausen, Sarah Anne (Kevin) McDowell, Laura (Tyler) Jensen, Katie (Brant) Matusiewicz, Justin (Chrissy) Linsmeyer, Randi Lea (Eric) Reese, Ashley (Mike) Reed, and Luke (Anne) Linsmeyer; her great-grandchildren: Lakelynne, Skylee, Kalab, Keilah, Lyssabeth, Alexzandra, Chloe, Isabella, Alice, Nocktavia, Bellemere, Cecelia (Zack), Hunter (Presley), Halle, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Lilly, Logan, Abigail, Parker, Madelyn, Bennett, Mason, Mckenzey, Justine, Jacie, Aliyah, Owen, Matthew, Eliana, Blake, Colin, Asher; one brother, Jerry Morrow; one sister, Janet (Milton) Williquette; one sister-in-law, Darlene Morrow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Deloris was preceded in death by one grandson, Matthew; a great-granddaughter, Kassandra Jo and one brother, John Morrow Jr.
Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Closing Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. Visitation continues at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 915 Ivory Street, Seymour on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Fr. Sengole Dass officiating, Dcn. Rich Matuszak assisting. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
The family extends a special thanks to Deloris' neighbor and friend, Mary Abel, for all of her support over the years, Elizabeth Timmens for her abundant love and care, and to all those who drove Deloris to her many social events she attended.
