Dennis Griesbach

December 1, 1947 — March 14, 2021

Dennis E. Griesbach, age 73, passed away at home on March 14, 2021 following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on December 1, 1947 a son of the late Henry and Laona (Dresang) Griesbach.

Dennis graduated from Appleton High School in 1967. He then married Bonnie Welhouse. and she preceded him in death on April 11, 2004.

Dennis farmed in the town of Black Creek for many years, as that was his passion in life. Above anything else, his family always came first.

He enjoyed going to races, stopping at the casino, the Tuesday shake of the day run, helping people with anything that was farm related, fishing, hunting, trips to Arizona, and going to Lake Metonga.

Dennis is survived by his children: Denise "DeeDee" (Jered) Blake, Brenda (Keith) Zemke, Dawn Kolaske, Dennis Jr. (Amy) Griesbach, Nichole (Ben Ullmer) Griesbach, Nathan (fiance, Casey Schultz) Griesbach; grandchildren: Marshall Slaets, Zoe and Garrett Zemke, Bailey Joseph and Devan Kolaske, Logan and Kaleb Griesbach, Kahler (Lydia) Ullmer and Keverlyn Ullmer; brother, Glen (Patty) Griesbach; and sister, Bernice Bedard. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends: Mark Wilkinson, Rob Roskom, and Al Vande Hei; and his cat, Buddy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Griesbach; and sister, Joyce (Bob) Hermann.

A visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Burial will be in the South Cicero Cemetery, Seymour. In lieu of flowers a memorials in Dennis's memory are appreciated.
