Dennis D. Juliar, age 88, of Oneida went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Manor Care in Appleton.
He was born March 6, 1930 to the late Merton and Myrtle (McWhorter) Juliar.
Dennis served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean war.
On August 24, 1957 he married the love of his life, Charlotte James and celebrated 52 years of marriage prior to her death on March 8, 2010.
Dennis was a faithful and dedicated member of Seymour Assembly of God Church.
He enjoyed fishing, working on old tractors, cars, and anything else that needed to be fixed. Spending time outdoors, whether it be gardening or working around the yard, was one of his favorite things to do.
Dennis was always helping others with handyman work, and opening his home to those that needed it including 55 foster children. Helping others was his mission in life. His family was always a priority, and he was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children and their families: Kay (Doug) Bjork, Chippewa Falls; and Dean (Sandy) Juliar, Appleton; his grandchildren: Rachel (Ross) Gustafson, Sara (Cody) Polivka, Keith (Tiffany) Juliar, Brad (Cheyenne) Juliar, and Benjamin Bjork; great-grandchildren: Franklin, Colten, Oliver, and Henry.
