Derek Linsmeyer

Derek "Bear" Linsmeyer, age 38, of Seymour passed away on January 22, 2016. He was born March 31, 1977, son of Len and Cindy (Sievert) Linsmeyer.
Bear was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour.
He graduated from Seymour High School class of 1995. Following high school Bear served in the US Army for three years.
Bear was presently employed at MCC.
He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Linsmeyer; parents, Len and Cindy Linsmeyer; siblings: Stephanie (Don Jr.) Kuettel, Hortonville; Mindy Linsmeyer (fiancAC. Jeff Priebe), Seymour; Jacob Linsmeyer, Seymour; nephew Trevor Rueden; step-nieces: Amanda and Vanessa; step-nephews: Donald III, Dustin and Dean; great-niece, Quinn; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Paige Ann Linsmeyer on August 2, 2015.
Friends may call St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour, on Wednesday, 27, from 2:00 pm until the funeral mass at 6:00 pm with Fr. Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating and military honors to follow. Interment will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
