Diane DuFour

Diane M. DuFour, 86, of Seymour passed away at Bethel Home in Oshkosh on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1937 daughter of the late Theodore and Leone (Cuff) DuFour.

She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church where she was active with the Women of the Church, Concordia, and the Quilters.

Diane worked at Seymour Canning, UW-Oshkosh and Bellin Hospital in the food service departments, and also cared for numerous residents of Seymour.

Diane was a proud citizen of Seymour and loved the city. She loved to help those in need and did so through her church and other volunteer activities.

She was a volunteer at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for almost 40 years where she was twice named Volunteer of the Year. Diane also was involved with Companionship for the Dying, the Seymour Historical Society, Friends of the Muehl Public Library, and Home of the Hamburger.

She is survived by her siblings: Terry (Nancy) DuFour, Waupaca; Daphne Riedi, Oshkosh; Ted (Susan) DuFour, Appleton; and Laurie DuFour, Donna, TX; good friend, Ann Smith; nieces and nephews: Ron Grabko, Jim (Rhonda) Grabko, Kristin Riedi, Anne (Jason) Boland, Sarah DuFour, Heather (Scott) Langrehr, and Meghan (Mike) Sherwood. She is further survived by four great-nephews; three great-nieces; other relatives, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Tom Goings.

Visitation for Diane will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Inclusive Park at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Diane's memory are appreciated.
