Dolores A. Bergsbaken, age 80, Maple Grove, passed away on Sunday Easter evening, April 8, 2012. She was born in the Town of Lessor in a log cabin August 8, 1931 the only child of the late Stanley and Rose (Wojkiewicz) Dudek.

On September 29, 1951 she married Roger Bergsbaken at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Hofa Park. Roger and Dolores operated the farm for 40 years and retired in 1994. Roger preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 2010.

Dolores was an active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino. She worked for the parish picnic, funeral luncheons and the church decorating committee. She enjoyed gardening, her strawberry and raspberry patches, cooking and loved animals. When she and Roger retired they had a travel home and traveled to many states.

She is survived by her son, Father Dennis Bergsbaken of Greenleaf; sister-in-law, Elaine (Leo) Yeager of San Diego, CA.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; a son, Richard Bergsbaken; three sisters-in-law: Doris (John) Anderson and Joyce (Norbert) Brusky, Lila (Alex) Holewinski

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 4 PM to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Father Theodore Hendricks and Deacon Don Coenen officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .
